Government Higher Secondary School Chukitong recently hosted a successful Sales Day Event to raise funds for needy students studying in Class 10 at GHSS Chukitong.

The event, which was organised under the initiative of School Development Managing Committee, parents, students and staffs of GHSS Chukitong, saw an overwhelming response from the local community and raised a significant amount of funds for the noble cause.

The sales day event, which was held on July 25, featured a wide range of products, including locally grown organic vegetables, fruits, chicken, handmade crafts, flowers, pickles and wildlife delicacies such as crickets.

Students, parents, staffs and community members came together to set up stall and sell their products, with all the proceeds going towards funding the hostel fees of needy students of Class 10.

The event saw an excellent turnout, with many local community members and parents showing their unflinching support by purchasing products.

The event was a great learning experience for the students, teaching them valuable skills such as teamwork, communication and entrepreneurship.
