Government Higher Secondary School, Noklak kicked off its Annual Sports Week with the opening programme on 1 November at Noklak Public Ground with Dr Pritpal Kaur SP Noklak as the Special Guest.

Kaur, in her Speech pointed out that Sports teaches Leadership, Teamwork, Discipleship and Participation are more important than winning. She also stated that with hard work and determination, technique and planning is important that could be applied not only in sports but in every field.

Dr Pritpal Kaur SP Noklak donated a Boxing Kit and Chess board games.

Citing an example of Noklak’s achievement during the recent Nagaland Olympic & Paralympic Games 2022, Kaur assured that the district has high potential in Games & Sports provided more polishing is required.

Kaur encouraged students to take the Frontier district forward in education, sports, art & music and entrepreneurship while avoiding drugs, bad education and failures.

A football match was played between the red and blue team.

Kongkhao, Principal GHSS Noklak, in his welcome address acknowledged Dr Pritpal Kaur for her selfless contribution and efforts towards the school.

During the Sports Meet, Dr Kaur donated a Boxing Kit and Chess board games, while a Computer Lab was installed under her initiation earlier in the school.

The opening Programme was followed by a football match between the red and blue team.
