The event was graced by the presence of Kovi Meyase, Additional Secretary & Ex-Officio Director of Employment, Skill & Entrepreneurship, who served as the guest of honor.

According to DIPR, during the convocation ceremony, Kovi Meyase extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the successful candidates and urged them to take immense pride in their accomplishments and emphasized the importance of honest hard work in securing employment.

Meyase drew attention to the alarming unemployment rate among youths in the state, reporting that as of April 2023, the state had 70,000 unemployed youths, ranking fourth in the country. He urged the graduates to broaden their horizons beyond white-collar jobs, encouraging them to venture into different fields and be willing to take risks in their pursuit of employment.
