The Gorkha Baptist Church (GBC) Kiphire today celebrated World Sunday School Day cum Graduation Day with great enthusiasm, honoring the growth in faith and learning of its young members.

The event featured vibrant praise and worship sessions, scripture readings, and melodious songs presented by the Sunday school children.

A short skit by children group of the church highlighted the importance of parents and elders setting good examples for children.

The graduation ceremony honored students who completed Sunday school, recognizing their growth in faith and learning.

Dr Bhim Sapkota, Pastor of GBCK delivered an inspiring message on the significance of World Sunday School Day sharing the story of Robert Raikes, who started the first Sunday school in England.

Dr Sapkota emphasized that children are the pillars of the church and urged parents and elders to nurture and guide them in righteousness. He encouraged the young ones to seek God in every stage of life and use their talents for His glory.

The program concluded with a benediction prayer, light refreshments, and a cheerful photo session.
