The Chang Wedoshi Setshang (Chang Students’ Conference) expressed dismay over the neglect of government employees in its community’s jurisdiction, today in a press release.

The CWS stated that the HoD’s and its employees of the government established departments under Chang jurisdiction (I,e Tuensang Town, Noksen SDO HQ, Ngoungchung EAC, Sangsangnyu EAC and Chingmei EAC) and sub centres under villages is neglecting its duty.

“Most of the employees within are irregular in performing its duty which is creating a great hindrance to the general public. More so, the proxy teachers kept by the Educators within the town and villages under our jurisdiction are being witnessed, which affects the quality education and career of the students,” stated the CWS.

Therefore, the CWS has informed that, the Conference will conduct its surprise inspection at all the Offices and Schools “inconsequence, if any employees are found neglecting its duty will be dealt accordingly”.

In the statement, the CWS acknowledged the Department of School Education for introducing the SMILE APP and also appealed the Directorate of School Education Department to implement it within the jurisdiction of CWS at the earliest.
