He also commended Dimapur for being a dynamic and diverse town. The Governor drew attention to the issue of soil erosion stemming from unchecked exploitation of riverbanks for resources. He suggested that an effective underground network would enhance cleanliness and solicited cooperation between government departments and citizens to tackle drainage issues.

He encouraged schools and colleges to adopt the New Education Policy (NEP) 2023, designed to make the Indian educational system more inclusive and learner-centered. Expressing concern over the rising menace of drug abuse, especially among the youth, the Governor urged civil societies and law enforcement agencies to combat this issue vigorously, striving to prevent the influx of drugs into the state.
Governor La Ganesan emphasized the significance of peace as a prerequisite for development and implored everyone to work together towards maintaining peace in the state.
