The Ao Senden, on Thursday, conveyed its condolences to the bereaved families of the eight victims who died in the vehicle collision incident in K Station area in Tseminyu district on 20 September 2023.
“Ao Senden is greatly pained for the loss of the eight precious lives”, Chubawati Longchar, President and Imtipokyim, General Secretary stated in the condolence statement.
It also expressed its “immense appreciation and gratitude to the District Administration and Police Department of Tseminyu and Wokha districts, SDRF Wokha, Rengma, Lotha and Ao communities of Tseminyu and Wokha Town, Village Councils, different Unions and Churches, Government of Nagaland and all individuals who have selflessly assisted the victims involved in the tragic incident physically, financially, materially.”
The Ao Senden also thanked Y. Tumchobemo Yanthan, Addl. S.P. Mokokchung for donating the coffins for all the deceased.
The ill-fated vehicle the deceased were travelling in was enroute Mokokchung from Kohima and of the eight victims, five of them belonged to Mokokchung District.
