On the occasion of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, a Half Marathon Race was organized by NCORD, Mokokchung in collaboration with DHEW, Mokokchung Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan at Mokokchung on June 22, informed a DIPR report.

The culmination and prize distribution programme was held at the main police point (Imlong place) where Senior SP, Mokokchung administered the pledge against drug abuse and illicit trafficking.

The winners in different categories are:

Under the boy’s category, the first prize was bagged by Tekasanen, 2^nd by Shapong and 3^rd by Sungjimtoshi.

Under the girl’s category – Chuchusangla bagged 1^st, Imsusenla 2^nd and Watilemla 3^rd. In the open category (women) 1^st by Imchaienla, 2^nd by Talirenla and 3^rd by Shilpa Kahhep. In the open category (Men) John Minj was placed in the 1^st while Taliynager Ozukum and Temjensanen Aongen were placed in 2^nd and 3^rd place respectively. Earlier, Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung Thsuvisie Phoji flagged off the race from DEF camp.
