The Department of Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) organized a farewell program to bid adieu to two senior officers, Principal Director Dr. Vibeituonuo M. Sachü and Joint Director Dr. Tiasunep Pongener. The event took place on August 31, 2023, at the DHFW Lobby and was graced by Commissioner & Secretary, H&FW, V. Kezo, DIPR informed.

During the program, Kezo commended the outgoing Principal Director and Joint Director for their remarkable contributions to the department throughout their tenures.

The program was chaired by Director (Health), Dr. E. Motsuthung Patton. Dr. Ritu Thurr, Mission Director National Health Mission, Nagaland and the incoming Principal Director of H&FW, presented citations and certificates to the retiring officers.

The retiring officers shared words of encouragement and reminisced about their in-service days, sharing profound memories. Dr. Sachü, the outgoing Principal Director, also encouraged the officers and remaining staff to continue their journey of serving the department with dedication.
