The Lotha Students’ Union (LSU) recent data findings on its statistical report 2024 has highlighted the grim reality of unemployment rate among its highly educated with a total of 5053 unemployed graduates, post graduates and Doctorates within its constituent units.
“The report aims to provide an overview of the community’s educational status and establish a reliable database of educated, unemployed Lothas,” informed the LSU on September 26. The findings also indicated a higher percentage of unemployment among its educated male population at 52.48 percent. While the total percentage of Educated Unemployed Females stood at 47.51 percent.
The total number of Unemployed Graduates were 3773, Unemployed Post Graduates at 1233 including 57 total number of unemployed Doctorates.

“The data presented in this report is based on information collected from affiliated units of the LSU. Please note that the actual numbers may be higher, as this data excludes unaffiliated units,” mentioned the LSU.
