The Sainik School Punglwa observed the Hindi Pakhwada (Fortnight) from 1st to 14th September 2024 with a series of exciting competitions. The event has been organised to instill a deeper understanding of Hindi and its significance among the cadets while honing their literary and communication skills.

The PRO and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defence, informed that the fortnight-long festivities featured various events, including Doha recitation, poetry recitation, storytelling and extempore. Cadets showcased their talents, vying for top honors. The competitions were part of the school’s ongoing co-curricular inter-House events, designed to foster teamwork, creativity, and healthy rivalry.

The grand finale took place was held on 14 September 2024, Shilloi House and Saramati House emerged as the proud winners, lifting the coveted trophy in the junior and sub junior category respectively. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where participants and winners were felicitated.
