It is hereby notified that there will be a mass social work on 21st October, 2024 from 08: 00 AM onwards. The said social work will be conducted with the active participation of all Government Employees, Kohima Municipal Council, NGOs, and general public in all the Wards.
In order to carry out the mass social work successfully, a location-wise work distribution is attached.

- Mass social work on roads not covered by the Government Departments shall be carried out by the respective Wards. DC Kohima and KMC are requested to issue necessary instruction to all the Wards. Impleme’ts for the social work shall be brought by the individuals.
- The councilors shall supervise the mass social work in their respective ward jurisdiction and ensure maximum public participation.
- The Departments will be wholly responsible for cleaning and disposal in their assigned areas. They shall be responsible for any unfinished work even if it spills over into the next day. Attendance shall be taken by the departmental heads and forwarded to DC Kohima on the same day for onward submission to the Government.
- Kohima Municipal Council shall identify alternate dumping sites in advance.
