Home Commissioner, Anoop Khinchi IAS, has directed all officers and staff of departments located around the vicinity of Nagaland Secretariat Complex to compulsorily attend the Independence Day celebration at the Civil Secretariat Plaza at 9 a.m. on August 15 wherein the attendance sheet shall be submitted to the Home Department for further necessary action.

The Departments include : DUDA;  Economics & Statistics; Health & Family Welfare; Higher Education; Technical Education; Information & Public Relations; Land Resource; PHED; Rural Development; Sericulture; Social Welfare; Treasuries & Accounts; Urban Development; Veterinary & Animal Husbandry;  New & Renewable Energy; Municipal Affairs; Information & Technology; Science & Technology; Horticulture; Home Guards & Civil Defence; Agriculture; Motor Vehicles; Labour; Fire & Emergency; SIRD; IDAN; NEPED; GIS; and NSDMA.

Further all Deputy Commissioners (DCs) have also been directed to issue instructions to all officers and staff of all departments under their respective jurisdiction to attend the Independence Day celebrations on August 15. The attendance sheet shall be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner for onward submission to the Home Department for further necessary action.

All the concerned Head of Departments have also been directed to make arrangements for taking the attendance of their respective staff present in the function and submit the attendance sheet to the office of the Home Commissioner, Nagaland.
