On April 30, MGM College hosted Rev. Dr. Father Stephen Touthang, Director of the Catholic Educational Society, Manipur—an eminent educationist, dynamic speaker, and visionary leader—for a motivational session titled “How to Lead Your Journey.”

The event was attended by faculty members, staff, and students who were deeply inspired by his presence and message. Rev. Dr. Father Touthang’s thought-provoking talk was a compelling call to live with purpose, resilience, and vision, stated a press release by the College. In his speech, Rev. Dr. Father Touthang urged students to embrace their journey with courage, faith, and clarity. Adding a deeply personal and spiritual touch to the session was his extraordinary guitar performance.

“It was more than music—it was ministry. Each strum and chord created a moment of connection that transcended words, touching hearts and lifting spirits. His musical expression brought a beautiful and uplifting dimension to the event, leaving a lasting impact on all present,” claimed the press release.

The programme began with an invocation prayer led by Lanusunep Longchar, followed by a special song presented by the Department of Education. Dr.R.K.Behera, Principal presented the introduction for Rev. Dr. Father Touthang while Fr. Giju George administrator  addressed the students with a brief  message, encouraging them to pursue their goals with integrity and dedication.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Lisathung Ovung, Dean of Students.
