The Zeliang Officers’ Association Nagaland (ZOAN) organised a felicitation programme for HSLC 2025 Top 20 achievers held at Deputy Commissioner Office’s Conference hall, New district headquarter Peren on June 16.

Deputy Commissioner Peren, Hiazu Meru in his speech congratulated to all the achievers for bringing laurels to the community. The DC stated that this is just a beginning of their career and in the near future many challenges will be ahead of them therefore he encouraged them to seek God’s wisdom and knowledge in order to face them and achieve more in their near future.

Hiazu Meru emphasized that they are not only the achievers of HSLC but the ambassador for the district. He also encouraged them to be responsible citizens and urged the achievers to give their suggestions in order to improve the district especially in the sector of education and to contribute to the society through their valuable experiences.

Cherakung Zeliang, IFS Regional Passport Officer & Head of MEA Branch, Guwahati Assam, in his speech congratulated to all the achievers for bringing laurels to the community. He said that naturally with their excellent performance and good results the expectations of the society will more, therefore he also encouraged them to exceed those expectations. Zeliang further stated that the present achievement is not the end and encouraged them to gear up for more challenges and success in the future

The ZOAN felicitated the achievers with certificate and cash awards. A speech was delivered by the HSLC 2025 Topper, Lungyihangle. She extended her sincere appreciation to the Association for organising programme and for recognising their achievements.

The President of ZOAN, Keyirangding Hegui presented the Keynote address. The programme was presided by Peihou Nsarangbe, General Secretary, ZOAN, Rev. Haiku Nza, Pastor of Peren Town invoked God’s blessings while Vice President ZOAN, Er. Kewizun Zeliang presented the concluding remarks.
