Hunting Boots emerged as the champions of the 6th Albatross 7-Men Soccer Tournament in Ungma village.
The two-day tournament, organised by Albatross Football Club, Ungma village, was held on 19–20 December. Altogether, 18 teams from around Mokokchung district participated in the tournament which was held at Senayangba Government Higher Second Ground, Ungma village.
In the final match on Tuesday, Hunting Boots won 4-1 over Red Devils.
Mapujungla Pongen, advocate, was the match patron of the finals.
The champions, Hunting Boots, walked away with a cash prize of Rs 40,000 along with the trophy, medals and certificates. The runners-up, Red Devils, received Rs 20,000 along with medals and certificates.
The award for Highest Scorer went to Osen from Hunting Boots. The Best Keeper award was presented to Ayim from Red Devils. The Player of the Tournament was awarded to Meyasenba from Hunting Boots
