A short formal program was held where special guest TaFMA project director, Hovithal Sothu mentioned that the entertainment industry in Nagaland was brought twenty years back and since then things have been moving quite fast. TaFMA has expanded its focus from music to art, entertainment, photography, etc., he said.

Sothu stated that no one in Nagaland could have imagine a Naga winning an award at the national level but Andrea Kevichüsa has done and showed us all that nothing is impossible if one gives their best in pursuing your dream.

“If Andrea can do it, you can also do it”, he said.

TaFMA project director urged that Naga people should move away from wanting to do the stereotype professions and start looking at other industries. Time has come to look beyond what we thought was a success those days and we should not be scared to take up challenges,” he heartened.

He added that the youths should find inspiration in Andrea’s achievements and believe in themselves.

Lamenting that Nagas do not want to venture out of Nagaland to find their dreams, Sothu stressed that the time has come for Naga people to go out and shine, to sacrifice our comfort zone and move up.

Andrea Kevichüsa thanked God and the whole Naga community for all her achievements. She said winning this award was never her dream because she never imagined she would land in acting career in the first place because her aspiration was to be a doctor.

She said the car will be a testimony to take risks in pursuing her dreams in future. As long as we know our limits, we can fit and adjust anywhere, even modelling and acting careers, she advised.

She further said that the first step to attaining success is to believe and take risks.

The program was earlier blessed with invocation by Mimi Revü and welcome address delivered by Epibeni Jami while Seyievinuo Chüzho chaired the ceremony.
