Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) appreciated the Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankar for encouraging the department for its initiative, Bloom Bazaar that had its inaugural run on 29th and 30th September 2023.
According to a report by DIPR, VP Dhankar had in his 1st October message conveyed his well-wishes and also expressed profound appreciation for the concerted endeavors aimed at preserving Nagaland’s splendid biodiversity and cultural heritage. He lauded the multifaceted nature of Bloom Bazaar, recognizing it as a captivating mosaic that will showcase not only Nagaland’s diverse flora and fauna but also its rich tapestry of indigenous music, handloom, handicrafts, culinary delights, and fashion.
In his message, Dhankar fondly reminisced about his visit to Nagaland during the Hornbill Festival in 2022, where he was captivated by the spectacular display of art, music, culture, and tradition etched vividly in his memory.
Moreover, he expressed unwavering confidence that this visionary initiative would place Nagaland on the national tourism map, rendering it an enticing hub for both tourism and investment. Bloom Bazaar’s ambition goes even further, aspiring to evolve into a self-sustaining model over time, fostering growth and prosperity for Nagaland.
This transformative project promises to illuminate Nagaland’s cultural brilliance and natural splendor, drawing visitors and investors alike while nurturing the State’s journey towards India’s greater goal of achieving ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ and ‘Viksit Bharat’, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar had stated.
