Igniting Passion: Annual Games and Sports Week 2023 commences in Noklak’s Christian High School

Noklak: Located at Indo-Myanmar border, CHS presently has enrolment of over 1600 students

Christian High School Noklak marked the beginning of its much-anticipated Annual Games and Sports Week 2023 on the 17th October 2023. With the inspiring theme, ‘Igniting Passion’, this event promises to be a celebration of sportsmanship and unity among the student body which will go on for a week.

The Annual Games and Sports Week 2023 is a grand platform for students of all stages to showcase their athletic prowess and team spirit. It offers an inclusive environment where every student has the opportunity to participate and shine.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by a distinguished guest, Col. Archit Goswami, SM, Commandant of the 14 Assam Rifles. In a motivating address, Col. Goswami urged the students to embrace the vital qualities of sportsmanship, emphasizing that these qualities are not just valuable on the field but also in life. He encouraged students to strive for excellence and never fear failure, as it is an essential part of personal growth.

Christian High School, Noklak was established by the Khiamniungan Baptist Churches Association (KBCA) in the year 1983. With a humble beginning with the motto, ‘Knowledge Increaseth Strength’, it has grown over the years through all trials and challenges.

Over 1200 students have passed out the HSLC examination from the school and serving the society in various professions and capacities. The school promises to give quality education despite its geographical remoteness located at the Indo-Myanmar border.

Presently, Christian High School runs from Pre-Nursery to Class-10 with an enrolment of over 1600 students with a strong, committed and passionate team of teaching faculty.
