Imchen’s Custom Art School Kohima celebrated its 1st Foundation day on July 13. The program began with invocation by Rev. Tiatoshi Longkumer, Pastor KABA.
Moa Imchen, Proprietor of the Art School and also a 3D architectural designer explained how a year was enjoyed teaching the students about the world of creativity. Imchen stated that the school will soon be affiliated with the International Animation Production Company which creates any other games that are played over smart phones or laptops or pc like PUBG, ML, CANDY CRUSH and animated cartoon films, assuring the best quality of education which any student in these generation is needed. Imchen also expressed his wish to reach out to other districts.
Citing example on how Automobiles, Architectural, Fashion designing, mobile and pc gaming or any other Animated movies were designed and created in software, Imchen highlighted that it all started by holding a pencil over paper with lots of mistakes which got corrected with eraser for perfection, informed a press release by the Art School.
Imchens message to all the students is that one should know how to balance extra curricular activities and educational studies.
Newly elected member of 2024 ULB Ketousie Khamo of Ward 15 from NDPP graced the event as the special guest. Khamo encouraged the students with certain examples and supported the school mentioning, how honoured and blessed it is for him to come and be a part of Imchen’s custom art school 1st foundation day.
“These days everyone is so confined and children are also too much into mobiles and computers, they don’t go out to expose themselves. But as I saw parents sending their children to this art school to let them learn, fulfil their visions, and expose their creativity, I feel encouraged and sees hope for the future. It is a great initiative on the part of the proprietor,” said Khamo.

Khamo says the greatest gift parents can give to their child is their valuable time. Children should also be given the opportunity to express themselves. “Some parents spoil their children by forcing them to do what they don’t want. We should give them unconditional love, time and dedication. Parents and elders should know what they are good at and should bring out the creativity within them which will enable them to fulfil their dream and face the world and its challenges as they mature,” added the Councillor.
AG Chairman Neizokhotuo Belho spoke on the progress the made institution since last year. On behalf of all the parents as well as the students, Belho thanked all those who have chosen the responsibility of running this institution.
Belho expressed optimism in the Art School and acknowledged the way the Proprietor has imparted his skills and creativity to the children.
The event concluded with an Art competition as a celebration of Imchen’s Custom Art school foundation day.
