Imnainla Jamir, who made headlines for playing the national anthem on an electric guitar during the Hornbill Festival 2022, received the H.E.R Award from Padma Shri Burkha Dutt during the ‘We The Women Festival’, India’s biggest festival for women on 4 March in Jaipur.
Curated by Dutt, the event brought together glamour, grassroots and gravitas in a unique, one of its kind event of, for and by women.
The gathering further witnessed a day of conversations with celebrated personalities from different walks of life in candid, no-holds-barred conversations.
Through their Instagram post, Task Force for Music and Arts also congratulated Jamir on the achievement and wished her success.
