Reiterates its support to the Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN), the Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has written to the Principal Director, Health & Family Welfare, appealing for the cancellation of the Special Recruitment Drive for 280 posts. The AKM further called for the immediate requisition of 329 posts to NPSC/NSSB.
Earlier this week, the CTAN had demanded for the cancellation of the Special Recruitment Drive (H&FW Department) and immediate requisition of 329 posts to NPSC/NSSB.

“The AKM strongly affirms the established norms for the recruitment through the NPSC and CTSE for the vacant posts and advocates for free and fair competition for all the qualified aspirants. Therefore, the AKM seeks sensible analysis of the demands put forwarded by the CTAN. The AKM also firmly stands in solidarity with the NMSA and urge the State Government to maintain status quo and recruit the vacant posts through the NPSE-CTSE, ensuring equal opportunity for all the eligible candidates upholding free, fair and through transparent process of recruitment,” stated the AKM.
The AKM expressed the belief that open recruitment based on the laid rules and norms by the department will be a more just solution and one that would be to the satisfaction and benefit of all the aspirants.
