Vimhalie Pienyü from Kitsubozou colony declared his candidature in Ward 5 for the upcoming ULB Elections on June 10 at his residence in a campaign kick off program.
Having resided in the colony for 16 years and serving the community, Vimhalie Pienyü highlighted that he has witnessed positive aspects, however he also shared the lack of development in the colony. Sharing his experiences serving as the chairman, Pienyü noted that serving as the Chairman does not bring development and upbringing to the colony and therefore by contesting in the elections, if voted to power, he assured to help towards the upliftment of the colony.
He informed that his party symbol will be allotted to him after June 13. He further assured to be truthful and honest and to serve the people if elected.

MLA Kevipodi Sophie in his speech highlighted that the ULB election has many impacts specially in education, health, sanitation or water sector. “All these issues should be looked by the municipal and we should select a good candidate who will work for the people for five years,” said Sophie encouraging people to vote for a good candidate and not regret later.
He describe Vimhalie as an honest person with a bright future and good vision. “He is a person who carries leadership quality and is capable to lead,” stated Sophie.
