New Delhi: Nadda criticizes Congress for blaming “authorities” for their “financial troubles”

Soon after the press conference held by Congress leaders where Rahul Gandhi commented that with the freezing of the Party’s bank account’s India’s democracy has been frozen, the ruling BJP lashed out at them stating that Gandhi should not embarrass India’s democracy.

India and its democracy is bigger than the Congress, BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad said at a press conference.

“If you’re a defaulter under provisions of any law of the country, you will be treated like one,” BJP National Spokesperson, Sambit Patra said at the press conference, adding that the Gandhi family’s “attitude of entitlement has ended under PM Modi.”

“For a party which has looted from every sector, in every state and at every moment of history, to talk of financial helplessness is comical,” BJP National President JP Nadda said in a post on X. He further criticized the Congress for blaming “authorities” for their “financial troubles”.

The Congress leaders on Thursday alleged that the BJP under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah were “systematically” attempting to “cripple” INC financially and that BJP was playing a dangerous game played by the “to end the level playing field.”

Eleven bank accounts of the Congress have been frozen since 20th February 2024, ahead of the General Elections 2024.
