Indian Army Recruitment Outreach Programs held at Dimapur to promote Agniveer Recruitment

Indian Army Recruitment Outreach Programs were held by the Army Recruiting Office, Rangapahar to promulgate the Agniveer Recruitment under the Agnipath Scheme, in coordination with Lotha Baptist Church in Dimapur, Nagaland. The outreach programme was attended by over 80 eligible students, their parents and Ex-Servicemen, stated a press release from the PRO (Defence), Kohima, Imphal & Rest of Arunachal Pradesh.

The sessions covered the importance of Agnipath scheme, its advantages, opportunities and addressed queries.  The session also included the modalities of the Officer entry schemes to include National Defence Academy (NDA), Officers Training Academy (OTA), Military Nursing Services (MNS) and Territorial Army (TA) Service Selection Board (SSB) interview were elaborated upon.

The aspirants were briefed about the eligibility criteria, application procedures, and selection processes for each scheme.  They were also explained about the organisation of Army and types of Arms and Services.

Handouts, posters, pamphlets and other publicity materials were also distributed and was handed over to the ESMs at the event with request to further distribute the same to the youth in their areas/ villages.
