Integration Communication and Outreach Programme held at Jubillee Memorial college

The Central Bureau of Communication, Field Office, Tuensang organized a two days Integration Communication and Outreach Programme on ‘9 years of Seva, Sushasan and Garib Kalyan’ cum Photo exhibition at Jubilee Memorial College, Mokokchung on February 22. Thsuvisie Phoji, Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung attended the programme as the Special Guest while Akum I Jamir, Teacher, GHS Longmisa was the Resource Speaker, reported the DIPR.

Speaking on the occasion, Thsuvisie Phoji highlighted on the importance of effective utilization of government schemes besides employment opportunities available to youths. Stating that learning is a continuous process he encouraged the students to never stop learning because life never stops and learning is essential for achieving success. Stressing on the importance of setting goals and targets in life, the Special Guest opined that only with hard work, determination and resilience one will be able to turn one’s dreams and visions into reality. He further informed the gathering that Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the govt. and public by facilitating clear and reliable information dissemination.

Akum I Jamir as the Resource Speaker focused attention on India’s ground breaking initiatives and achievements in the past nine years under Modi government for the lives of common man, putting the nation on a global map. He also encouraged everyone to support the different initiatives brought about by the Modi govt. and to bring inclusiveness for the progress of the nation.

Earlier in the programme, Thsuvisie Phoji, DC, Mokokchung inaugurated the photo exhibition. The programme was chaired by Tsungrosenla Jamir, Asst. Prof, Dept. of English, JMC while Dr Imtiwati Jamir and the Principal JMC delivered the welcome address. Hingnamdi Newme, Field Publicity Officer, CBC, FO Tuensang delivered the introductory speech as well as the vote of thanks. The programme was followed by a Quiz competition and prize distribution.
