IOC relaunches 10 kg Indane Composite Cylinder in Kohima

Kohima: Customers can surrender existing cylinder and get it replaced with 10 Kg composite cylinder from Indane distributors

The premium cylinder from Indian Oil Corporation ltd- 10 kg Indane Composite Cylinder was re-launched today at Hotel Japfü, Kohima.

Speaking at the event, Solei Kumrah, DLH Tinsukia Indane DO said, 10 kg composite Indane cylinder was introduced in January 2022 and the first launched was done at Seyie Gas Service, Kohima. Highlighting the features and benefits of the 10 kg composite cylinder he said, it is the latest Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinder that has three-layer High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) composite that Indane Oil is offering.

Kumrah said it has the multiple and superior benefits over the 14.2 kg steel cylinder which have been in used since time immemorial. He explained that the 10 kg Composite Cylinder are that they are lightweight (50% lighter than steel cylinder), rust-free, aesthetic looks and safer with the translucent body for checking LPG liquid levels which will help the customers to effortlessly plan for the next refill.

“It is very safe in case of the occurrence of fire in your home and kitchen this cylinder will not explode it has got multiple safety features and the pricing may be little bit on the higher side” for these features, Kumrah added

He encouraged and appealed the people to avail the safe and user friendly 10 kg Composite Cylinder and said, “It is a smart cylinder for your smart kitchen” adding “you can partially surrender your existing 14.2 kg cylinder or fully surrender and get it replaced with 10 Kg composite cylinder from your nearest Indane LPG distributor.”

He further informed that the security deposit of 14.2 kg cylinder is 2000 while the one-time security deposit of 10 kg composite is 3500. He said the response since its maiden launched has been overwhelming and it has gained popularity since the first launched and is “growing from strength to strength”

“Highest selling market of 10kg composite cylinder is in Kohima,” he added

The program was followed by the flagged off of LPG delivery van of Seyie Gas Service with branding of 10 Kg Composite Cylinder and 19 kg Xtratej featuring Xtratej Brand ambassador Sanjeev Kapoor, by DP Vidyarthi, CGM (LPG), IndianOil.

Later in a structured meet with LPG Distributors of Nagaland, Vidyarthi explained the convenience of digital booking of LPG refills through various modes like missed call, SMS, IVRS, WhatsApp booking, IndianOil One App, Amazon, Paytm, Google Pay and encouraged all customers to book refills digitally and give PDC feedback to enhance customer convenience & experience. He also appreciated the dedication and sincere efforts of the LPG distributors in making LPG available to our valued customers in this part of the country with difficult hilly terrains. Vidyarthi exhorted all the distributors and reminded all about “Nation First” which is one of the core values of IndianOil.

Special invitee Temsukala Lemtur known as Temsu Clover was felicitated by handing over 10 kg composite cylinder and welcome note was delivered by H. Thangzamaun, Manager (CC & LpG-S), Dimapur LSA-1.
