The Longleng district along with the rest of the country held its launching programme on IPPI at NST Junction on March 3.

Deputy Commissioner and Chairman DHS Longleng Dharam Raj, IAS, in his short speech said that Polio destroys the future of our children and encouraged all stakeholders and citizens of Longleng to cooperate and eliminate polio by taking the polio drops. The DC informed that polio will be administered in booths and door to door immunization on March 4 and 5.

In his keynote address the DPO (RCH/UIP) Longleng Dr. S. Imnameren Phom, stated that 66 immunization booths has been set up under Longleng and that there are 4,339 head counts for polio. He encouraged all citizens to cooperate so that no child is left behind.

Dr. Tiasunep, CMO Longleng proposed a welcome note while the programme was chaired by Christina, VCCM.
