The Department of Information Technology & Communication (IT&C) has informed that the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics & IT, Government of India in collaboration with the Department of Information Technology and Communication, would be organising a one-day workshop on ‘Digi Locker (User Experience for Government Application)’ & ‘eProcurement and eTendering System’ on July 18 at 9.30 am. in the conference hall of the Directorate of Information Technology & Communication, Kohima.

The objectives of the workshop are:

1. To digitally empower citizens providing with a secure digital document wallet, enabling access to authentic digital documents and certificates directly from the source, thereby advancing the vision of paperless and efficient digital governance.
2. To create awareness and chart a forward-looking digital transformation plan.
3. To streamline and automate the procurement process, leading to increased efficiency, cost savings, and transparency in purchasing goods and services.

All the Departments have been requested to kindly nominate a senior officer from the Directorate to attend the workshop under intimation to this Department with the endorsement copy to Chief Secretary Office and Directorate of Information Technology & Communication for necessary action.
