The Department of Information of Technology and Communication (IT&C), Government of Nagaland, has urged all the stakeholder departments to utilize Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Telecom Service for their telecom requirements wherever possible.

The Department said that this request is in compliance with the request from the BSNL to the State Government of Nagaland to consider and issue favourable instructions to various State Departments for the utilization of BSNL services for telecom requirements.

Earlier, the Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure and the Ministry of Communications, Department of Telecommunications, Government of India had mandated the utilization of BSNL network for internet/broadband, landlines and lease line requirement for all Ministries and Departments of the Government of India, Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSEs) and autonomous bodies under the Central Government.
