The Mokokchung District Art and Culture Council (MDACC) held a felicitation programme today for Jentiren Jamir, the second runner-up of Miss Nagaland 2022, at Elate Hall, Mokokchung.
Along with the title of second runner-up, Jentiren Jamir also won the subtitle of Miss Beautiful Skin at the Miss Nagaland 2022 pageant held in Kohima on 2 December.
I Temsu Jamir, vice president of MDACC, congratulated Jentiren Jamir for her achievements at the recently concluded Miss Nagaland 2022.
Jamir stated that the MDACC would act as a mediator and support her. He also encouraged the citizens of Mokokchung to support her.
It was also informed that Jentiren Jamir would be auditioning for Femina Miss India in Guwahati on 18 January 2023. The MDACC vice president encouraged Jentiren to understand the needs of the society and to embrace the religious community.
Jentiren Jamir expressed her appreciations to the MDACC for selecting her as the representative of Mokokchung district and also to the people of Mokokchung for supporting her in her journey at the Miss Nagaland 2022 pageant.
“Miss Nagaland 2022 was an amazing journey,” Jentiren said and further pledged to the MDACC that she would work in any given capacity to be productive in society.
