Jo Foundation Inclusive School celebrated Parents’ Day cum Cultural Day at the State Academy Hall, Kohima on Friday, DIPR informed. The program featured a captivating musical presentation by Jo Foundation students, showcasing “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat.”
Special Guest Theja Meru, Chairman of TaFMA, lauded the students of Jo Foundation School for their exceptional performance during the grand cultural show, recognizing the immense effort and dedication required to stage such a splendid event. He shared that the show evoked cherished memories for him and commended the school for its strong focus on imparting essential values, which serves as an inspiration to all.
Meru emphasized the significance of appreciating individual differences, highlighting that each child under the school’s care possesses unique skills. He stressed that it is through these differences that the true beauty of humanity shines and underscored the need to recognize and celebrate these distinctive qualities. Furthermore, he emphasized that these special children are no less than other citizens in society and should be treated with the utmost respect.
