A joint Ex-Servicemen Rally will be organised for the Army and Assam Rifles veterans at Assam Rifles Play Ground, Mokokchung on 17th January 2024 under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (North).

The Assam Rifles informed that the Rally will commence from 8:00 am onwards and invited all Ex-Serviceman from all districts of Nagaland, along with their dependents, to attend the event and “enable the Assam Rifles to Honour its Veterans”.

The various services that will be provided at the joint Ex-Servicemen Rally include free medical check up by specialists (ENT, ortho, ophthalmologist, gynaecologist, dentist, etc).

Besides, veterans and their families can also get services related to Canteen Stores Department (CSD), Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Aadhaar Card, Pan Card, Voter ID, Pension related grievances, etc.

The Assam Rifles also informed that free consultations and guidance will also be provided on legal matters, job opportunities, skill development, MSME establishment, etc. at the joint Ex-Servicemen Rally in Mokokchung.
