Joseph Hesso and YP Chillio Khiam were sworn in as State Information Commissioners (SIC) of the Nagaland Information Commission on March 2.

According to an official update, the oath-taking ceremony was held at the Conference Hall of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat Kohima, where the Chief Secretary of Nagaland Sentiyanger Imchen administered the oath of secrecy.

The programme was presided over by Principal Secretary Home Abhijit Sinha. The ceremony was attended by Administrative Heads of Departments (AHoDs), senior government officials, officers, and staff members.

Hesso is a former police officer and Khiam, a politician.
