The Deputy Commissioner, Niuland Sarah S. Jamir administered the oath to the newly elected Town Council Members on 4th July 2024 at DC’s Conference Hall, Niuland, DIPR informed.

In the recently concluded ULB election to the Nuiland Town Council, out of nine wards the BJP won six and independent candidate won three seats.

The member unanimously elected Kakheka Zhimomi as the Chairman and Visheli Zhimo as the Vice Chairman to the Niuland Town Council.
