With the onset of the festive season, as people prepare for the birth of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, members of Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) on Saturday distributed free coffee, tea, and snacks to travelers near the Koinonia Prayer Centre (KPC) at Tsiesema Army Camp along National Highway-2.
An update from the Koinonia Media Ministry informed that it was an annual event of the Junior CYE and Youth Department of the church, with the objective of spreading the message of love and joy to commemorate the onset of the festive season—Christmas.
During the day, KBC members not only treated travelers to the warmth of free coffee, tea, and snacks but also shared messages of the Gospel through thoughtfully crafted bookmarks.
Founder and Senior Pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC), Rev Dr Zotuo Kiewhuo, speaking on the sidelines of the event, said that Christmas is all about love—the love that God gave through the birth of Jesus Christ to save humanity.

He urged believers not to celebrate the season with materialistic gratification alone, but to thoughtfully reflect on the true purpose of Christmas, where love is spread and the message of salvation—that Jesus Christ came as the Redeemer to liberate people from all bondages and bring breakthroughs were shared.
