The Kohima District Basketball Association (KDBA) has announced that the inaugural Inter-High School Basketball Tournament for both boys and girls is scheduled to take place from 2nd to 4th October 2024 at St. Mary’s Cathedral Higher Secondary School, Lerie, Kohima.

In this regard, the Association has invited all high schools under the district to participate in this “first of its kind” tournament.

KDBA President, Vimhalie Pienyü has informed that the winners of the tournament in both boys’ and girls’ categories will receive a cash prize of ₹30,000, while the runners-up will be awarded ₹20,000 each, along with certificates.

Additionally, the best-disciplined school will receive ₹5,000, and the Most Valuable Player (MVP) from both boys’ and girls’ categories will also receive ₹5,000 each.
