Nagaland’s Kenei Ritse was crowned Miss North East on November 5 at the Miss North East Beauty Pageant held in Sikkim. This was announced by Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN) on Instagram.
Ritse is also the reigning Miss Nagaland 1st Runner up, and was also crowned Miss Phek 2022. Anamika Borah from Assam bagged the first runner up while Jenn Renthlei from Mizoram was adjudged the second runner up.

Ritse hails from Pfutseromi village under Phek district and is a Psychology student at Tetseo College Dimapur. According to Talent Foresight, Ritse is a University topper and actively campaigns for mental health in Nagaland. In September, Ritse started a mental health campaign called ‘Heal Together’ to build awareness on the importance of mental health and also help eradicate the stigma attached to mental health issues.
