The Office of the Khiamniungan Students’ Union, HQ Noklak convened a joint consultative meeting at its office on Saturday with the Construction Labour Union, the Noklak District Chamber of Commerce & Industries, along with the non-locals residing under Noklak district for peaceful co-existence between the communities.

In the meeting, the KSU appealed the congregation to uphold the sanctity of the district and respect each ethnicity irrespective of caste, colour and creed.

It also urged the communities to offer the best services in all industries to safeguard the economy and skills of the district and to collectively embrace modernizations at par with other district of the state.
