In a selfless act of kindness, over a hundred men from Pangsha Village carried the Khiamniungan shawl wrapped coffin on a bamboo stretcher across the Indo-Myanmar border under challenging conditions. A local mentioned that along the way, the roads were unpliable and the men had to walk for around three and half kilometres carrying the coffin.

KTC delivered the body of Lieutenant Shetoi Yeptho to the Sumi Baptist Church, Tuensang and the NSCN (Niki Sumi) which was finally taken to his village in Zunheboto district.
