The Kick off program of Kekhrieletuo Belho ,NPP candidate of D Block ward No.6 was held at D.Block Panchayat hall on June 10.

Kekhrieletuo Belho, in his candidature speech, assured to work for the peace and development of the colony and to look after every individual and household.

NPP Party President and MLA Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhutso stated that the D.block is one of the oldest government recognised colony and comprises of various communities. Assuring reliability and good governance, the MLA appealed to select Belho as their winning candidate. The MLA also discussed on major issues that affects the citizens in Kohima town such as health care and adequate water supply. He assured to provide health care services and well as water in their area if NPP comes to power.

He asked the people to make Belho the common peoples’ candidate so that he will get to know their problems first hand.

Speaking on behalf of the Women  organisation, Kikrusonuo Sophi  highlighted that if they  select Belho as their leader they will see development in their colony. A man of few words, Sophi said, Belho is someone who will deliver his action and will bring development, peace and harmony.

Peteneilhou Mechülho and Ruokuovilhou (GB) also spoke during the program urging for peace and, the public to select the right candidate. During the event, a concerned citizen also expressed hope that the candidate provide Water supply once he is selected, because the colony has been adversely affected from water shortage, and other basic  infrastructure such stairs and drainages.
