As per a post shared by SportsLIVE Nagaland: Let’s Promote, on Facebook, a group of kids in Medzhipehma wrote a letter of apology to the ‘Youth leader’ seeking forgiveness for playing football on a Sunday.

The letter reads, “we will not play again in Sunday football please forgive us” and “if we play again you beat is”.

In the letter, the kids promise to stay home on Sundays from now on and ask to be excused for this particular incident. The letter ends with a request to the chairman to return their ball and that they will “never ever ever ever play again on Sunday”.

The letter was signed by the seven kids.
