A kilometre long Approach Road to Platinum College Western Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuxakulu (WSBAK) Resource Centre, Nihokhu Village Niuland was inaugurated by Y Kikheto Sema, IAS, Principal Secretary, Environment Forest and Climate Change, Fisheries and Aquatic Resources and Parliamentary Affairs on April 11.
In his speech, Sema thanked Chief Secretary, Sentiyanger for his support and Er. Inahoto Yeptho, EE Dimapur, for supervising the work. He said that Platinum College is one of the fastest-developing colleges in the state in terms of infrastructure and is blessed with a large, eco-friendly campus.
Addressing church leaders, he emphasized the importance of tolerance and forgiveness, and said the church should promote peace.

He added that a road is not just concrete but a connection between the outside world and the college. The new infrastructure, he said, will improve comfort, safety, and efficiency, reflecting the management’s commitment to a safe and supportive learning environment.
Earlier Rev. Dr. Phughoto Sema, Executive Secretary, WSBAK delivered the welcome address while Dr Kalito Chishi, Principal Platinum College pronounced the vote of thanks.The program was chaired by Hetovi Ayemi, Member BoG.
