Kiphire Town Baptist Lithro (KTBL) youth ministry has initiated a plantation drive at Sgeul Aoibhneach School campus on Monday morning.
The objective of the plantation drive is to promote the idea of sustainability and caring for environment, KTBL youth director Yotsala Sangtam said.
Proprietor of the school, Pastor Alison and his wife warmly welcomed the youth ministry’s initiative. Through their mission to provide quality education, they also promote environment conversation.
Alison lauded the initiative of the KTBL Youth ministry, encouraging the leaders to always “walk and work by faith”. He said the small seedlings which were planted today, will give shed, comfort and oxygen to the future generations, setting an example for the upcoming children to follow and cultivate for later as well.
All together more than 20 youth officials from KTBL youth ministry participated in the plantation drive.

Sgeul Aoibhneach school which started in the year 2017 has close to 200 students enrolled at present, with 18 teaching and non-teaching staff.
