John Tsulise Sangtam, Deputy Commissioner Kiphire was formally inducted as President of Kiphire District Bharat Scouts and Guides at a program held at DC’s Conference Hall on Tuesday.

In the same program, P. Lipichem, Proprietor of Agape Higher Secondary School Kiphire, Fr. Philip Magh Principal of Loyola Higher Secondary School Kiphire were also inducted as Vice Presidents while TR Abraham Sangtam was inducted as District Commissioner (Scout).

The newly inducted President in his speech extended his appreciation to the Kiphire District Bharat Scouts and Guides for the efforts they are putting for the upliftment of the movement. He said that Scouting and Guiding is a voluntary movement for the benefits of the citizen which are respectable works. He further assured to extend his help whenever needed.

Earlier District Education Officer Kiphire, Deenbandhu Panda welcomed the gathering and extended his best wishes to the Scouts and Guides.

The programme was chaired by Arola ADOC(G) while Imtinaro Longkumer DOC(G) delivered vote of thanks.

Inato Sema, DOC(S) administrated the induction ceremony while Nyingsuthong Tikhir DTC(S) delivered the significance of Scouts and Guides. Apenla Pochury presented special song.
