Kiphire DPDB held its meeting on Monday at DC’s Conference Hall under the chairmanship of C. Kipili Sangtam, MLA & Chairman DPDB, informed DIPR. The Chairman welcomed the officers and informed them to be in the station and make public aware of different schemes and projects under their department.

Temsuwati Longkumer, NCS, Vice Chairman of DPDB and Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire, highlighted the agendas of the day.

Felicitation certificates were awarded to Zivi L. Jingru and Kumari Kiusvi K.M of Loyola Higher Secondary School, Kiphire for securing highest marks in Mathematics and Science respectively among the schools under Kiphire district in the HSLC Examination 2024.

Certificate of appreciation was also awarded to Dariyali Goswami, Program Lead, Piramal Foundation, Kiphire for rendering her valuable service towards the Aspirational District Programme, for Kiphire District.

Proposal for posting of Junior Engineer, Power and PHED Department at Seyochung, Construction of Road connectivity to GMS PHED Kiphire Town, Proposal for Road Extension from NH – 202 to entrance of District Hospital Kiphire, Adaptation of Schools and Approval of Local Area Development Schemes 2024 – 25 were the main agendas of discussion which were forwarded to the respective authorities for final approval.
