The ‘Tiranga Walkathon’ was held in Kiphire on 8th August 2022, jointly organized by 14th (IR) Bn and DEF at District HQ. Kiphire.

Deputy Commissioner Wati Aier, during the event, said the country has been observing a yearlong celebration of the 75th Anniversary of its independence, and in this regard, various programmes have been held in the District. He informed all the heads of offices, shopkeepers, and the public to raise the Tri color National flag in all Government Offices, shops, and private residences till 15th August 2022.

Earlier, the ‘Tiranga Walkathon’ started from the Helipad to Tuensang Road Junction in Kiphire. HOOs, troops of 14 IR Bn. & DEF and school contingents participated in the program.
