Organised by Kiphire District Economic and Statistics Department, the online registration of Births & Deaths was launched in Kiphire today at the DC’s conference hall.
Speaking at the programme, DC Wati Aier said the launch of this new system is to facilitate public access to birth and death certificates in online mode, which is more systematic and centralised. He encouraged the department to publicise more on this system.
District Economics & Statistics Officer Kiphire Holikhum Sangtam informed that the Applicant/general public can access the online website https://crsorgi.gov.in and log in through the general public signup.
“The certificate generated from the system has a unique registration number, QR Code, Bar Code, and embedded facsimile signature of the registrar along with the imprinted state birth and Dead logos,” the DESO said.
He also mentioned that the computer-generated certificate is to be recognized as legal documents along with the certificates issued manually by the registrar of Birth and Death.
