A large scale cleanliness drive was observed at Kiphire Town organised by the Kiphire Town Baptist Lithro, Youth Ministry on the 31st May, 2024.
In an act of community service and environmental stewardship, the drive began at 4:30 AM which witnessed enthusiastic participation from numerous young volunteers dedicated to make a positive impact on their town.
“We are thrilled to see so many young people come together for this cause,” remarked a representative from the Kiphire Town Baptist Lithro Youth Ministry. “Their hard work and dedication are a testament to the power of youth engagement in community development.”

The youth members worked diligently throughout the early hours, collecting litter, sweeping streets, and ensuring that public spaces were meticulously cleaned. Their efforts also played a key role in raising awareness on the importance of cleanliness in the community.
The initiative received positive feedback from local residents and business owners, who expressed gratitude for the youth ministry’s efforts. Many noted the immediate improvement in the town’s appearance and the sense of civic pride fostered by such events.
