The two-day Constellation 2023, organised by the Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS), Kohima under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) and second phase of Project Empathy, culminated on Saturday.

Staying true to its theme “Building Resilience”, the inter school fest enabled students to develop the quality of resilience that stands as the bedrock of success and the ability to bounce back from adversity, adapt to challenging circumstances, and emerge stronger. The event helped in nurturing the quality of resilience in the young minds which is paramount, considering the increase in the anxiety and stress levels amongst children as young as 11 to 12 years of age.

During the two-day Constellation 2023 fest, students were able to gain certain objectives such as promote understanding and appreciation of resilience in everyday life, foster teamwork and collaboration among the peers, encourage creativity and critical thinking through role plays and memorable learning experience.

Five schools of Kohima took part in the event namely, ARPS Kohima, Mount Hermon Higher Secondary School, Chandmari Higher Secondary School, Genesis School and Charity School.

The first day was an internal school event where the students of ARPS, Kohima took part in learning the essence of “Building Resilience”. Two activities were conducted for the students, an Art Work on “Resilient Nature” where students through their art/painting depicted how nature teach us to be resilient despite the odds in the environment.

The second activity was a Story Writing activity where the students shared their experiences of facing certain situations where things could have been worse.

On the second day, Resilience Treasure Hunt activity was conducted where the five schools of Kohima with ten students and teachers from each school, took part in the fun activity.
